I wanted to thank all of the parent volunteers who have been working really hard on helping our class have exciting centers. Students are enjoying being able to learning using hands on centers.
Im am so happy Ms. Minor and I decided to take our classes ice-skating! For many students it was their first time out on the ice. Even if they had a hard time their attitude always stayed positive! We ended our great day with a little snack at the Garden.
Adding a little bit of measuring to our fun day! How does this little hand compare to an NBA basketball prayers hand? All the kids wanted to talk about were these big shoes!!! Everyone had a great day on the Thunder bus!
We will be off to the library this week before it starts getting to cold.
Don't for get to signup so we know how many parents to count on for our class trip. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0d4dadaf2aa7f49-class Picture day is this Tuesday. We will be taking pictures early in the morning. Hopefully this will help keep them looking their best!!! Please make sure they wear their John Rex uniform.
Ms. Figueroa Students have the opportunity to see how firemen put on their safety gear. They learned that if they see a fireman dressed in his safety gear that they should not be afraid and should come to the sound is voice. They we're also excited to see him that they went to give him a big hug! As A big surprise the firemen also brought their fire truck with them for the students to see. Each student had the opportunity to take a close look inside the fire truck and check out all off their tools.
